The 2020-21 academic school year was definitely one to remember. This is due to the fact that the Covid-19 pandemic occurred and it made a drastic change to the ways of face-to-face teaching. Rather than face-to-face teaching, teaching switched to virtual teaching. Because of this change, the views of education in classrooms have definitely altered. An example of this change includes assigning homework online such as through the website Canvas, rather than handing out physical papers to write on and turn in on their assigned due date(s). In this article, Project Tomorrow and Blackboard incorporate five important questions to ask education leaders, in order to know how the drastic change in teaching has affected both student and teacher engagement.
