Student engagement in learning is very important, for it leads to a bright and successful future. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic when educators taught virtually, many students started to show a lack of interest in school. This was shown through factors such as not showing up for zoom class lectures and not turning in homework assignments on time. This sudden lack of interest in education from students has therefore pushed educators to try harder in their lesson plans in order for students to show more commitment in their studies. In addition, this article includes four considerations in regards to the virtual learning experience and how it can be made better.
