In the span of a year, K-12 districts have witnessed a significant evolution in cybersecurity awareness. While previously the focus rested largely on IT ownership, the broader district community has now emerged as pivotal stakeholders. Recognizing this, the goal is no longer mere awareness, but the creation of a resilient digital ecosystem that thrives on collective responsibility. The increasing sophistication of cyber threats coupled with the growing integration of technology in education necessitates an adaptive, comprehensive approach.
This workshop emphasizes the progression from mere cybersecurity awareness to decisive action, underscoring the collective responsibility of the district in crafting a resilient digital ecosystem. Moving beyond merely reactive strategies, it promotes a forward-thinking approach anchored in district-wide collaboration. Through this workshop, we aspire to transition from basic awareness to genuine resilience, aiming to guarantee our students a secure and continuous learning experience.
