Project Tomorrow is an educational research nonprofit organization advocating for the use of technology and innovative strategies in education. We focus on preparing students and educators to thrive in the digital age and harness the power of technology to enhance learning experiences.
The Speak Up Annual Survey is a key component of Project Tomorrow. There are currently three active surveys open through May 31, 2024. Each title is linked to a resource page with more details:
Speak Up 360
A comprehensive set of multiple thematic surveys related to the use of technology in schools and outside of school
Used by CA districts for LCAP
What: Covers general questions about new learning models and digital learning.
Who: K-12 students, parents/families, educators, school leaders
Why: Data to inform strategic planning
Speak Up Leader
A survey aligned with the new National Educational Technology Plan (NETP)
What: Measures readiness to tackle digital equity across the three digital divides outlined in new NETP
Who: District and school administrators, K-12 technology leaders
Why: Digital Equity Readiness report card and resources to help close the digital divides
Speak Up Snapshot: GenAI
Snapshots are short surveys focused on a key education issue
What: Collects the views and activities regarding Generative AI in schools
Who: Educators, school leaders, and district administrators
Why: Data to inform the development of effective AI programs and policies
