Project Tomorrow is headed to a historic city for one of the most iconic educational technology events of the year! Will you be in Philadelphia for #ISTELive or will you be on team #NotAtISTE? Either way, we will have plenty of ways for you to expand your learning and connect with others this summer! Our sessions are below and you can visit our ISTE page for more details on unofficial events!
Using data from the national Speak Up Research Project, this session will describe what digital citizenship topics are discussed in K-12 schools, who is teaching digital citizenship and where instruction takes place, with implications for children’s experience of risk and opportunity online. Critical digital skills like data collection practices and algorithmic bias are included.
Presenters: Michelle Green, Speak Up Project Director and Allison Starks, Researcher, University of California-Irvine
Both presenters are former K-12 teachers and leaders

Presenter: Dr. Julie Evans, CEO Project Tomorrow
