Project Tomorrow takes data privacy seriously.
We hope this Website Privacy Policy and the related Data Privacy Policy make clear how we collect data, what we collect and how we use data. If there are any questions, please contact us.
Website Privacy Policy
Project Tomorrow conducts research, provides consulting services and makes online tools and resources (our “Services”) available for districts and schools to be able to collect, use and analyze data to inform their programs, policies and practices to improve student learning.
This privacy policy covers the Web site www.tomorrow.org (the “Site”) and the services available through the Site. We may post supplementary privacy notices regarding our offerings where more detailed information is required.
1. Information Collection
Information provided when you subscribe to our mailing lists
If you subscribe to our mailing list, we collect your name and email address. You may also optionally enter additional contact information such as your title and phone number, the name of your organization, address, city, state and zip.
Automatically Collected Information
Like most websites, we automatically collect certain types of usage information when you visit any of our websites. This information is typically collected through cookies, log files, web beacons, and similar tracking technology (collectively, “cookies”). These cookies collect information about how you use the Website (e.g., the pages you view, the links you click, and other actions you take on the Website), information about your browser and online usage patterns (e.g., Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser language, referring / exit pages and URLs, pages viewed, whether you opened an email, links clicked), and information about the device(s) you use to access the Website (e.g., mobile device identifier, mobile carrier, device type, model and manufacturer, mobile device operating system brand and model, and, depending on your mobile device settings, your geographical location data at the city, state, or country level ).
Our analytics tools do not collect more than a general location (at most, city-level), and are set to “IP Anonymization.” In addition, we may also use clear gifs in HTML-based emails to track which emails are opened and which links are clicked by recipients. The information allows for more accurate reporting and improvement of the Website. We may also collect analytics data, or use third-party analytics tools, to help us measure traffic and usage trends for the Website. Although we do our best to honor the privacy preferences of our visitors, we are not able to respond to Do Not Track signals from your browser at this time.
You may be able to disallow cookies to be set on your browser. Please look for instructions on how to delete or disable cookies and other tracking/recording tools on your browser’s technical settings. You may not be able to delete or disable cookies on certain mobile devices and/or certain browsers. For more information on cookies, visit www.allaboutcookies.org. Remember, disabling cookies may disable many of the features available on the Website, so we recommend you leave cookies enabled.
2. Information Use
We use or may use the data collected through cookies, log files, device identifiers, and clear gifs information to: (a) remember information so that you do not have to re-enter it on subsequent visits; (b) to provide and monitor the effectiveness of our website; (c) monitor aggregate metrics such as total number of visitors, traffic, and usage on our website and our Website; (d) diagnose or fix technology problems; and (e) otherwise plan for and enhance our website.
We will not use or share your contact information in ways unrelated to those described in this privacy policy without your permission.
We will use your contact information to communicate with you and provide you with transactional messages in response to your inquiries, to provide you with information you request.

4. Disclosures Required by Law
We reserve the right to disclose your contact information, as required by law, and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on us.
5. Merger or Other Acquisition
We may transfer your contact information to a successor entity upon a merger, consolidation or other corporate reorganization in which Project Tomorrow participates or to a purchaser of all or substantially all of Project Tomorrow’s assets to which this Site relates.

If we decide to change our privacy policy in a material way, we will post a prominent change notice on the Site, and we may notify you by email of those changes so that you continue to be aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
