YouthTEACH2Learn

YouthTeach2Learn

The YouthTEACH2Learn program is a unique program for high school students to explore teaching as a career. The students gain hands-on experience with teaching by developing and teaching standards-based lessons to younger students at local elementary schools. Ultimately the course helps students determine if teaching is a "good-fit" for their professional goals.

The Future Educators Association of California was established during the 2011-2012 academic year to promote the positive message of promoting careers in education to students across the state. F.E.A. California strives to help students explore teaching as a career and to provide them with an understanding of what a career in education actually is. We have worked collaboratively with the international F.E.A. and additional state F.E.A. advisors to expand opportunities to student members in our state. F.E.A. California is an initiative of Project Tomorrow.
